Ford Dealer Cuts Lighting Energy Use 61%

Pioneer_Ford_2_Views_webreadyEaton’s Galleon LED area luminaires from its Cooper Lighting Division have reduced lighting energy use 61 percent at Pioneer Ford, in Bremen, Ga. The lighting conversion has also reduced the high number of lighting maintenance issues the auto dealership was experiencing.

Working with local utility Georgia Power, the Cooper Lighting team conducted a photometric analysis to ensure the new lighting would meet Illuminating Engineering Society (IES) standards and the desired illumination levels. The conversion used the existing pole locations to replace 62 metal halide 100-watt fixtures with 421-watt Galleon fixtures.
